Note: The total number, mentioned above, of Palestinians who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank does not subtract those who were released after kidnapping them. *** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. Source: Palestine Information Center, August 10, 2025. *** Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate. ***
*** *** *** ý Impacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip*** UN: 55,000 families in Gaza affected by heavy rains and storm damage Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations has said that about 55,000 families have been affected so far by the most recent rains across the Gaza Strip, with their belongings and shelters damaged or destroyed in the storm. The statement was made by Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN secretary-general, during a press briefing at the UN headquarters in New York on Wednesday. Haq also noted that the storms and heavy rain damaged dozens of child-friendly spaces in Gaza, leading to the suspension of child protection activities. This disruption affected around 30,000 children across the territory, he added, stressing the need for urgent repairs to ensure these child activities can resume without delay. The spokesman warned that Israel’s ongoing restrictions continue to obstruct humanitarian organizations from expanding their response more quickly in Gaza. *** UNRWA: 16 Palestinians die in Gaza amid heavy rains, cold weather, and building collapses Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that at least 16 Palestinians, including three children, have died in Gaza in recent days as a result of heavy rainfall, freezing temperatures, and the collapse of damaged buildings. In a statement, UNRWA said the harsh weather conditions have further intensified the humanitarian catastrophe in the besieged enclave, underscoring the urgent need to scale up assistance and protection for civilians and to mitigate the impact of climate-related disasters. Earlier, Gaza’s Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of a 29-day-old infant, Saeed Abdeen, who succumbed to extreme cold in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. His death brought the total number of fatalities linked to the latest weather system to 17 cases that have reached hospitals. Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the severe weather over the past week has killed 17 people, including four children, due to extreme cold, while others died as a result of building collapses. Basal said more than 17 residential buildings have completely collapsed, while over 90 others have suffered dangerous partial structural failures, posing an immediate threat to the lives of thousands of residents. Flooding caused by heavy rains has also submerged nearly 90 percent of displacement shelters, leaving thousands of families without temporary housing and destroying their clothes, bedding, and basic supplies, further deepening their humanitarian suffering. Gaza has been hit by two severe winter storms over the past week, resulting in the martyrdom of many children and damage to approximately 53,000 tents sheltering displaced families. The crisis has been exacerbated by Israel’s failure to comply with the ceasefire agreement and its humanitarian protocol, particularly provisions related to the entry of shelter materials, tents, and mobile housing units. Palestinians in Gaza are enduring these conditions in the aftermath of a devastating genocide that has lasted nearly two years, killing more than 70,000 people, injuring over 171,000 others, and destroying around 90 percent of the territory’s civilian infrastructure. *** ****** Gaza: Death toll climbs to 70,669 martyrs Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which started on October 7, 2023, has surged to 70,669 martyrs, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, on Thursday morning. The Ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 171,165 people. In its daily report, the Ministry said that hospitals received the body of one civilian as well as 13 wounded people during the past 24 hours. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, at least 395 Palestinians have been killed, 1,088 others injured, and the bodies of 634 martyrs have been recovered. *** Civil Defense recovers dozens of bodies from rubble in Western Gaza Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Gaza’s Civil Defense teams have completed the recovery of the bodies of the Salem family martyrs from beneath the rubble of the Abu Ramadan family home, which was destroyed by Israeli forces during the war in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City. Lieutenant Colonel Mahmoud Al-Shobaki, who led the mission, confirmed that rescue crews successfully retrieved all 60 bodies from the site, some reduced to remains, alongside 17 other bodies that had been buried near the house during the war. Al-Shobaki noted the operation was carried out using extremely limited equipment, including only basic machinery like a backhoe and loader. The mission took three consecutive days of intense labor under severe constraints. He called for the urgent entry of heavy machinery and equipment to expedite the retrieval of thousands of bodies still trapped under rubble throughout the Gaza Strip. Today, Civil Defense teams moved to the Al-Yarmouk area to search for more martyrs buried under the rubble of the Nabrees family home. Despite limited resources, Civil Defense teams and other authorities continue their efforts to recover bodies from buildings and homes destroyed by the Israeli military during its campaign of mass destruction. According to the Ministry of Health, emergency and civil defense crews face massive challenges in reaching bodies buried beneath hundreds of destroyed homes, due to an extreme shortage of equipment and the total absence of critical heavy machinery like excavators. Even after a ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli authorities continue to violate its terms by preventing the entry of hundreds of heavy machines needed to remove the massive piles of debris across Gaza. According to the Government Media Office, Israel has destroyed nearly 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure during the two years of genocide, leaving behind over 70 million tons of rubble, one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the region. The Civil Defense previously stated that they receive continuous pleas from families seeking help in recovering the bodies of their loved ones months after they were killed, but the lack of equipment makes responding to these appeals nearly impossible. *** Palestinian child killed by Israeli explosive ordnance in Gaza Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) A Palestinian child was killed on Thursday evening after an explosive device, left behind by Israeli occupation forces, detonated inside El-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza. Gaza’s Civil Defense reported that the child died when the suspicious object, a remnant of Israeli military operations, exploded inside a residential home belonging to the Al-Souri family on Al-Jaouni Street in the camp. Local sources confirmed that the body of the child, identified as A'hmed 'Abdullah Ma'hmoud El-Souri, was transferred from the camp to El-Aqsa Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h. In a related incident, Rafah Police in southern Gaza reported Thursday that their Forensic and Rapid Response teams successfully neutralized an Israeli tank shell that had landed on a civilian’s tent in the Kanis area of southern Rafah. The head of the forensic unit explained that the unexploded shell was an M339 120mm round. Its failure to detonate upon impact posed a direct threat to residents. He added: “Upon receiving the alert, our specialized teams immediately responded and safely defused the shell without any casualties.” In recent months, multiple casualties, including children, have occurred due to the detonation of unexploded ordnance left behind during Israel’s two-year-long war on Gaza. Julius van der Welte, head of the UN’s Mine Action Program in the Palestinian Territories, had previously warned that children are the group most vulnerable to the dangers of unexploded ordnance and remnants of war. He stressed that these hazards are hindering efforts to restore normal life in Gaza. Van der Welte explained that these remnants pose a serious risk to civilians, especially as hundreds of thousands of people move about following the ceasefire, and that children’s curiosity and lack of awareness increase the likelihood of accidents. He also noted the lack of accurate data on the full extent of explosive contamination in Gaza but said that indicators point to widespread presence across much of the Strip. *** Another Palestinian newborn dies from cold in southern Gaza Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Another Palestinian newborn baby boy was pronounced dead in the Gaza Strip on Thursday as a result of prolonged exposure to low temperatures. Gaza’s Nasir Hospital said that 29-day-old Sa'eed 'Abdeen died from hypothermia in El-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip. 'Abdeen’s death brings the toll of children who have died from the severe cold weather to four, while 13 other citizens have lost their lives after war-damaged buildings and structures collapsed as a result of the rainstorms that hit the territory. In a related context, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, Dr. Mu'hamed Abu Salmiya, warned of imminent mass deaths among children, especially premature and newborn babies, due to the severe cold wave striking the Strip. Dr. Abu Salmiya pointed to the absence of life-saving medicines, safe heating means, and the Israeli ban on the entry of mobile homes to Gaza, calling for urgent action to avert the worsening humanitarian catastrophe. He told Al Jazeera satellite channel that premature and newborn infants’ bodies “cannot withstand this deadly cold weather,” warning that the coming days could see rising deaths among them unless winter clothing, blankets, sufficient food, and safe homes shielding children from cold and rain are urgently provided. *** The Israeli occupation army carries out renewed attacks in Gaza Thursday 18-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued on Thursday to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, launching attacks on neighborhoods and deliberately targeting civilians. According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli gunboats opened fire in the morning off the shores of Khan Yunis and Rafah, in southern Gaza, with no information yet known about casualties. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting a site in the eastern areas of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Israeli armored vehicles and tanks also opened fire in different directions in Rafah, south of Gaza. On Wednesday, the Red Cross warned of the grave risks posed by collapsing war‑damaged buildings in the Gaza Strip during the current severe weather conditions, stressing that such structures endanger residents’ lives and contribute to rising casualties. The Red Cross said that thousands of civilians find themselves forced to remain in unsafe buildings due to the lack of alternatives and insufficient shelters, further exacerbating humanitarian dangers across the territory. The Red Cross underscored the urgent need to expand and sustain the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza to address both immediate and medium‑term needs, including food, shelter, essential supplies, and equipment to repair critical infrastructure severely damaged during the war. It also emphasized the importance of allowing aid to enter without restrictions and ensuring its rapid, safe delivery to all areas of Gaza, in order to alleviate the suffering of the population amid worsening humanitarian conditions. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Child injured by Israeli gunfire during Askar Camp raid Thursday 18-December-2025 NABLUS, (PIC) A Palestinian child was injured on Thursday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the New 'Askar refugee camp, located east of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams treated a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in the leg with live ammunition. Local sources said that Israeli military vehicles entered the eastern area of Nablus, then advanced into and around Askar Camp, where Israeli forces opened live fire, injuring the boy. Since October 2023, the West Bank has witnessed widespread incursions and settler attacks, where Palestinian communities are increasingly targeted amid heightened tensions and settler violence. *** Palestinian injured by IOF gunfire in Qalqilya Thursday 18-December-2025 QALQILYA, (PIC) A Palestinian young man suffered a bullet injury on Wednesday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire at him in Qalqilya City, north of the West Bank. Eyewitnesses reported that the IOF opened fire at a young man in his 20s, injuring him in the leg during his presence near the separation wall in an-Naqqar neighborhood in the city. A Red Crescent ambulance crew transferred the youth to Darwish Nazzal Hospital in Qalqilya, where doctors described his health condition as stable. *** Several Palestinians kidnapped by the IOFs in West Bank raids Thursday 18-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens, including a child, during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped a child called Ma'hmoud El-Qit after ransacking his family’s house in Madama town, south of Nablus. Israeli forces also assaulted a young man inside his house before kidnaping him in El-'Ain refugee camp, west of Nablus. In Qalqilya, two young men were taken prisoner following IOFs raids on hoes in Hajja town. The IOFs also stormed neighborhoods of Qalqilya City, broke into and searched homes, and interrogated several residents. In Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnapped a young man after searching his house in the city’s Dthinnaba suburb. The IOFs also stormed the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, east of Toulkarm, where they intercepted vehicles and citizens for security checks, conducted interrogations, and kidnapped two young men. In southern El-Khalil, Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted two local young men in the hamlet of Dair Razi'h. In the southern area of El-Khalil City, an IOFs armored vehicle deliberately rammed a Palestinian car, causing only material damage to it. The IOFs also raided homes and assaulted citizens in other areas of the West Bank, without making arrests. In a separate incident, armed illegal Israeli settlers launched a stone-throwing attack on a car in the north of El-Khaleel (Hebron) City, shattering windows and denting the exterior. No injuries were reported. According to the eviction orders, Khaleel El-Basbous and his son Bilal will have to leave their homes by January 5, 2026. The orders were issued by an Israeli court in favor of the Jewish settler society “Ateret Cohanim,” under the pretext that Yemenite Jews owned the land of the house in the past. Eight members of the family, including children, live in the two homes. The Israeli court decision comes as part of a policy aimed at emptying the neighborhood of its residents to make way for Jewish settlers. In another incident, a horde of extremist settlers, under the protection of police forces, took over two Palestinian homes belonging to brothers Nasser and Ayed Rajabi and their mother in the same neighborhood, raising Israeli flags over them. This came just days after the family was forcibly evicted from their homes in favor of Ateret Cohanim. Ateret Cohanim is a government-backed Jewish group and educational institute located in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It actively works on Judaizing the holy city and expelling its indigenous people, the Jerusalemites, from their homes. In 2004, Ateret Cohanim embarked on extracting Israeli court decisions that enabled it to seize Palestinian homes and property and displace local families in Silwan and other neighborhoods of the holy city. Israel’s Judaization activities started in Silwan district and its nearby areas in 1996 when the Jewish neighborhood of Ma’ale Hazeitim emerged as a small settlement on the Mount of Olives in east Jerusalem, inside the Arab neighborhood of Ras al-Amud. *** =============================================================================================================================== ÈöÓúãö Çááåö ÇáÑøóÍúãóÜٰäö ÇáÑøóÍöíãö "ãöäú ÃóÌúáö Ðóٰáößó ßóÊóÈúäóÇ Úóáóìٰ Èóäöí ÅöÓúÑóÇÆöíáó Ãóäøóåõ ãóäú ÞóÊóáó äóÝúÓðÇ ÈöÛóíúÑö äóÝúÓò Ãóæú ÝóÓóÇÏò Ýöí ÇáúÃóÑúÖö ÝóßóÃóäøóãóÇ ÞóÊóáó ÇáäøóÇÓó ÌóãöíÚðÇ" (ÇáúãóÇÆöÏóÉõ ¡ 5: 32). In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
